I've got about 50k primers at my house right now, I'm just trying to help out others who are running short.

**** Im jealous, I don't have half that. 50k is really not that much at all, when you consider different calibers.

I've been building those up for the past year, almost all of them are large pistol too. I'm taking a huge pay cut in a week by switching from working government contracts to being a cop, the stability will be nice but not so much the pay for the first few years. In my mind the best solution is to stockpile several years of reloading supplies so I've got that many primers, enough powder to use them all and I cast all my handgun bullets from scrap lead.

I just hope my house doesn't catch fire for some random reason, I should probably have hazmat stickers on the outside of it ;).

I am somewhat surprised no one has chimed in they are running short... or "PM sent"

Well I don't have 50k, but I have enough to last me at least several years of high volume shooting. My weak link right now is bullets.

50k is not hoarding it is a good amount to insulate yourself from price swings. I do not have 50k but roughly 35k. Mostly small rifle, because i use Sr for small pistol and rifle.

This. More so if you shoot a lot of classes or USPSA.
