Ahh, the 'chucks. The only weapon so dangerous, so deadly, that the state of Arizona forbids them from being carried. I can (theoretically) CCW a full auto M4 with suppressor and 203 on the streets of Phoenix, but not a pair of sticks linked by a chain.

From the book Secrets of the Ninja by Ashida Kim (aka Radford Davis and Chris Hunter).

It is as error ridden as anything written by Duncan Long.

Sounds like a loon he does. So there's no actual recognized ninjutsu school.. I worked with a guy many years ago who claimed he studied ninjutsu. Weird though he was, I assumed there was a valid school teaching the art somewhere.

Right now Togakure Ryu has the most "legitimate" claim of the "known" schools. Tenshin Shoden Katori Shinto-ryu is a complete martial system (mostly devoted to fencing) that seems to have a ninjutus subset still intact.

Lots of people like Ronald Duncan and Robert Bussey who are legitimate martial artists and practice a modern combative form based upon traditional ninjutsu. But any claims of unbroken lineages going back to the "old days" seem to fail under close scrutiny.

Of course it's hard to factually document something that was illegal to practice for several generations.

But Ashida Kim is a ****ing tard who is FOS.

Gotta remember 30+ years ago a lot of cops had never seen this stuff before.
