This is free advice:

Be sure to remove all unspent ammunition from your backpack before entering the airport and stepping into the security line :(

Hey, it happens. It wasn't a big deal, not so long ago.

Been there, done that--twice. You haven't lived until you've been listed in a police report as a "subject," right? :)

It's not too big a deal, but it did take 10-20 minutes to clear up, for me. Before 9-11 they just threw the round out, now they fill out forms...

Well T****, will the TAP FPD blow up my SAR-8 or not? I just need to get one round off, to kill a coyote...I want to see how well that stuff works.

AFAIK, it shouldn't blow it up. However, are you sure it's sighted in right ;)

BTW, what model, caliber, and bbl length AI do you want?

AWSM please, in .338. This country could use a few more AI dealers, BTW.

And it's sighted in well enough to hit a coyote at 50 meters....thats all I need.

Yeah it took about 10-15 minutes and I was on my way. The ran a "wanted" on me, took a picture of it with my drivers license, told me to expect a letter from the TSA and that I shouldn't do it again.

I'm a Blaster. I have been stopped many times for having Explosives Residue on me or my luggage.

One time in LA Airport they made me stand on a box while a National Gaurd guy held me at rifle point while they searched my bags.

I didn't get upset. It was only a few months after 9-11. But it made me kind of nervous that the guy kept pointing his rifle at me. I don't know if it was loaded or not.

I would have been more than a little upset about that.

To bad there aint a thing that can be done about it.

Tip #2) Make sure you check your bags because your friends think its funny to put box cutters in your carry-on just to see you get shaken down by security.
