Hi guys, just curious if anyone has any experience with these rifles. My dad has one that he had to have, he's put 5 rounds through it in a year or two since he bought it. We are talking about trading my turkey gun (mossberg 935) for it, and I'd like another bolt gun for my collection, mainly for the .308 factor.

I have a model 70 and a 700sps stainless, both in .300win mag. They have become zero fun for me to shoot since I broke my collar bone 2 years ago. I don't really want to get rid of either of them, but I have no attachment to the shotgun.

Is the night train a viable option for a .308 gun to start out with? I can get into it with zero $ investment, makes it very appealing.

Thanks!
Will

Never buy a gun named after what the engineer was drinking when he designed it.

Mossberg rifles are only firearms because when you squeeze the trigger, a bullet generally comes out the barrel.

Aside from that definition, they bring nothing to the table.
