I don't spend much time on reddit anymore, but I check in on the subreddit dedicated to gun legislation. Users there are pretty quick as posting what they come across.

Exactly. For a time, Jalopnik was relatively free of the nonsense, or at least where it wasn't absolutely pervasive, but even that is completely by the wayside.

When I'm bored, I'll run a cache proxy to see what articles are on Jalop without actually giving them hits on the website, but that's pretty much it. Gawker properties can SMH.
