THIS is the guy we need speaking for the NRA. Powerful, accurate, and inspiring.

He did a great job, but we must remember that they already know restricted cities have restricted access. They blame it on the outside and therefore also want that reckless outside to change and be just like them.

Their answer is all around restrictions which will lead to those in the inner cities having a harder time all around obtaining. That is their excuse and that is what we should be focused on overcoming.

*Edit to add that after another watch his speech was about as good as it gets. That is one smart, well spoken and by all accounts respectable fellow. God bless and Godspeed to him.

That is passion and reason speaking. Oh but that we all were as well. Stand up America!

We yap about starting movements and such here, well let's help fund this guy. See him as a winner in the long run.

The NRA Membership as a collective should petition for his immediate hiring to handle all interviews, large scale events, etc.

Thank you for posting this. He makes excellent arguments, with great points.

As an aside, wasn't he the gentleman on TV a while back, when they did a special on how the USSS protects the President on overseas trips? I thought he was sharp in that as well.

AKDoug and ZGXtreme are spot on. He would make a terrific spokesperson for the NRA.

Very inspiring. I must say the power and meaning of his words are all the more significant because his message transcends the moment. Pick any tumultuous time in our history and his words would be just as relevant as they are today. Thanks to the OP for posting.

It's nice to see someone speak with conviction and passion for once.

Posted to my fb wall. Articulate, passionate, well spoken. Instant credibility. He'd tear Piers Morgan a new one...

Even without his law enforcement past, this guy has more credibility than all the anti-gun shills in DC combined. Truth and logic served with calm and reason but spiced up with a little passion. Really good stuff!

Add in his, what was it, sixteen years with the USSS, and wow, the credibilitometer is pegged! I am really diggin' how many people in LE are seeing this all for what it really is.

I thought so!

Hard to write off the man as some tinfoil wacko, when he's authorized to firearms around POTUS.

Mr Vickers, thank you for forwarding your recommendation to the NRA.

Thank you.

I'd go on to say as a member, I'd donate more if he was brought on staff.
