I like his style. We have the same issues in Alaska. Folks moving here for the Alaskan life then trying to change it to be like where they came from.

I love his response, if only we could have such leadership here in CO.

I've been contemplating moving out of Tennessee because of my allergies and asthma. AZ has been the top on my list, but after reading this, WY would be great. How is WY for asthmatics?

For a moment I thought the woman was going to say she was from CA.

Pretty good. Very arid. Low pollen and humidity. The allergies part depends on what you are allergic to.

Love my home state.

YES!!! He gets it. That made my day. If only Oregon had taken the same "tactful" way to express this sentiment towards a lot of the "Immigrants" who migrated here from the 80's to the present. Thanks for the link AKDoug.

Give that man a cigar.

“Apparently I have to live here a certain amount of time before I have an opinion,” she told the newspaper.

And she still doesn't get it

That was one hell of a response. That man is what our elected leaders should aspire to be. I emailed him to thank him for his reaction.

He hit on one of my pet peeves! I wish more public servants would say the same damn thing.

As a Texan living in Wyoming, I love this. (theres a reason I chose Wy, same political atmosphere)

I'll read between the lines for folks not in the know, what Mr. Hunt really meant was.......Take your greenie ass back to Colorado and stay there with the other hippies.

2) It's time for all the politically correct BULL SHIT to end. He is so spot on with "If you don't like it where you moved to", then go back to where you came from and love the hell out of it there. You need to do as Romans in Rome! Stop trying to change a new place to be just like where you ran away from because you didn't like it there! Leave the Romans, the hell alone, your a "Foreigner", go home.

I moved the hell out of a messed up state, and moved here, BUT, I knew what I was leaving, and that it was different where I was moving to. I had the brains/common sense, to know not to bash the locals for what has been working for them all thru out their history. I had many a conversation with transplants from Cali, and they were bitching about how "WE", need to change and be like "Cali". I asked them if it was like that in Cali, and they said yes, then I hit them with "And thats what you moved here to get away from, so whats your problem, go back where they do what you don't like BUT want to make people do the same shit here you moved to get away from". Some shut up, and some moved back.

BRA-f'in-VO, Wyoming is moving fast up my list of potential relocation venues.

Public sentiments like this from the citizen's elected representatives are partly why WY is on you short list of states to select from whenever Colorado finishes shitting the bed. It would also be the shortest move at only about 30min and put us closer to where we grew up and our family as well. It sure as hell ain't the weather! :D

Not at all! Just expect that when you express your stupid opinion in a "non-stupid zone" you can expect a direct and blunt response! :D

You know…. That just might not be a bad IDEA. You have to show proof of 24 months consecutive residency, before you can vote. AFTER ALL, here you have to show 6 months residency BEFORE you can get a resident fishing/hunting license.

Don't forget most places require this just for a drivers license or even a state i.d.

So it would only make sense

That's correct when the opinion you bring is from a socialist perspective. Live in a free state for a while and learn from the experience instead of trying to pollute it with your progressive agenda.

This is the same issue southwest states face from California transplants. They spread their new age hippy BS ideology wherever they go.

I have relatives in WY and ID. Both are looking better all the time.

One of the reason I am not on the bandwagon welcoming others to TX.

It's only a matter of time before TX flips from Red to Blue. I give it 20 years or so.

It is an official statistic that there are more minority kids attending TX schools than white children now. After this crop graduates we are either outnumbered or close to it and if all the illegals get citizenship then we are certainly Blue for good.

Awesome. He touched on my pet peeve/fear as well. Your state has no jobs? Great, come on down! But remember when you vote that there is a distinct reason why your state had no growth, and why your new home does.

Please don't screw that up like a bunch of parasites.

Rev. Audette Fulbright...haha.

Because lots of decent pastors have web pages dedicated to themselves right?

I heard some folks plan on attending all of her services with the intention of gathering enough information on her to get her tax exempt status removed....
