I finally got around to testing some reloads in my newly built 300BLK upper. The first few I fired were Hornady 110gr 300BLK cartidges and were under 1" at 50 yds, which really impressed me for the first few rounds fired. The 147gr reloads were another story; they were all over the place at 50 yds. I tried 10 of each: 16.5gr, 16.8gr, & 17gr... by that time I felt like I was just wasting ammo.
FWIW, the inconsistencies MIGHT be my optic as it's a cheapo until I'm able to get the Vortex I want. Who knows if it was even holding a zero... but I am positive it's not the gun. What kind of accuracy are y'all getting out of these kind of rounds?
