Can this magazine carrier be attached to a 1.5" or 1.75" belt?

I know a few guys (that I work with) that attach AR15/M16 mags directly to their belts when serving low profile warrants.

This magazine carrier could also be very useful for competition shoooter who only need 1 - 3 extra mags on tap: https://www.m4carbine.net/showthread.php?t=2475

This looks really similar to the new Tactical Tailor mag pouches. Are both made by ITW/Nexus?

jeff, negative on that. molle only. it would be WAY too loose on a belt. weird - the photo doesn't show the two protruberances in the back that retain the top in molle webbing. it's these things at the top which keep it secure in molle webbing. see pic.

RAM - the ones on the tactical tailor site are the first gen ones, which were wider and took up too much space on molle webbing. in fact, i didn't like it enough to put it up on my site when i got them a year ago. the new 2nd gen ones are much better, and yes, i'll be putting them up on my site. if you get them from TT, make sure they're the 2nd gen ones i've pictured.

the FASTmag is designed and manufactured by downeast inc. and is marketed by ITW military products.

Hmm, looks like it might be possible to do some field-engineering to make one work on a pants belt...

Or maybe they should just make one that does. :D

Regarding the pants belt version, I have handled a variant of this mag carrier set up for belt use and they will be available at some point in the future.

MM, Good observation on the tab-less picture posted above. That actually IS the belt version shown. The one in your pics with MOLLE tabs is the one that Grant will have first!

Any question feel free to ask. Same goes for any ITW products if i don't have the answer I can get it.
