Ok i went and bought some chamber brushes now i find out i dont have a rod to attach them to so i can twist them down into the chamber.they dont fit my Mil Spec cleaning rod .What do i need?:confused:

I just took a standard cleaning rod (I had a few of those cheap Outer's sets) and drilled/tapped a piece of aluminum bar stock for a handle.

Thanks guys for the tips.While its on my mind what thread size are the brushes i may can fabricate me a chamber rod at work.(im a jig and fixture designer/builder) i like building crap any way!

.MIL brushes are 8-36. Both threadings are running around out there.
