Thoughts on this? Seems like it might be a good idea if made well and the rail is lonely.

A gas pedal repackaged for tactical types and works with no ones's holsters.
It will go far.

Your Glock (and most pistols for that matter) already have a nice ledge that promotes a high grip.
Product seems to be for people who really need to just stipple their gun.

Oh Boy! Does it come with a free recoil buffer too?

Helps you master that forceful down/left push to maximize misses instead of just learning how to grip the gun.

And old ipsc device for those wishing to reduce muzzle flip without having to learn proper grip and recoil management.
Looks like the lazy person's way to solve a training problem. Soon my friends will be asking me about it.

I wonder if I could get one put on my .454 Casull, just to let douchebags who ask to shoot it at the range can try it. Might be fun to watch it cut up or break their thumbs.

I want the "Shadow" version, the ultimate choice in tactical defense!!

Thanks for the input folks.

Now that would be funny. Wrong but funny.

You know the type. Nothing wrong with letting "that guy" get bit, he needs it.
Downside is that I would have an atrocious lever attached to a $2300 revolver and the above mentioned shooting range super tactical ninja type would bleed on it and most likely drop it too.

If a picture ever screamed "run far away......"

The perfect solution to a problem that doesn't exist!

So it's been done before? If someone had a grip disability, would it help them?

Nearly 500 people have viewed this thread, I'd wager 5 have already placed an order.
I'm torn between:
'I just threw up in my mouth'
and
'Fer $#@&£ sake!'

OMG, what you said...
First off it looks like a solution to a problem better solved by training.
I think that the picture of the handgun its being modeled on says a lot about the product...

I'll bet it's made by the same company selling moon rocks. :jester:

It would be so cool if they made one with a little foot shape! :jester:
That said, it looks like a cruch for people who can't shoot. (Not that I'm a great shot, myself.)
I don't get all the hate. That thing would look great on a diamond plate Sig. If it came in coyote brown. With a custom cut Serpa.
But in all seriousness...(seriously), wouldn't this device actually *defeat* the purpose of a thumb forward grip (pressure in the wrong direction)? Was something similar actually used in IDPA somewhere?
I have never seen one and I would not own one. They would not be in business if people were not buying them though.

Not legal in any way in IDPA, but they're fairly popular on open guns in USPSA and they are now legal for limited as well.
I've shot an open gun with a gas pedal and it felt awkward and out of place, I prefer my glocks with little to no frill.

Oh the problem does exist but the solution is a shooter fix. Not a mechanical/super accessory fix.

Ah very nice. So it is not without purpose; and found legit by some in some applications, rifle and pistol.
If Tango Down sold these they'd go viral. ;)

I could actually see a use for these on guns with tall HGs.
