Even the theme song has lyrics that say "Didn't néed no welfare state, everybody pulled his weight, gee our old LaSalle great, those were the days." Obviously he wasn't fond of Roosevelt American changes.

Spot on, the whole premise of that show was to show white, blue collar, American, males as dumb and out dated. The producers of the show had no idea how it would backfire on them. All In The Family was as popular as it was because everyone loved Archie! :D
