So I've been setting up my URX 3.1 rail with a few goodies... I mounted a Fenix PD32 in a VLTOR mount near the front of the rail, and I just put a PWS FSC556 comp/flash hider on today. As an afterthought, it occured to me that some of the gases may be blowing back into the flashlight bezel, which may cause damage to the lense.

Should I be worried about this? Doubt it would be too bad, if it is I can always bump it back or onto the other side of the rail.

Here is a pic of the light mount, but I'll snap a pic with the FSC556 tomorrow. One of the prongs look like it will be blowing gases right into the lense.

I've got my SF Scout mounted closer than that to my Battle Comp and the most trouble I've had is residue on the flashlight lens. I think you'll be OK.

I rub a little Chapstick on the lens every so often. Will just wipe clean with a microfiber cloth. Otherwise, an ink pen eraser will clean it up. I've never had any damage.

If you are concerned you may damage your lens, you can always buy spares.
