Has anyone ever installed or seen one of these installed in person? They are for Gen 1&2 guns.

I doubt you would ever be able to get any form fitting kydex holsters to work.... but a nice idea if you want a dedicated bedside gun.

If you really want a light rail on your non-railed Glock swap the frame with Glock.

Look for the post here titled Glock Frame Swap Report.

For $100 you can send your non-railed frame to Glock and they will replace it with a new railed frame.

It can't get much better than that.

I used to have a Glock 19 Gen. 2 that I installed the Brownells Light Rail on. I experienced no problems with it except that the Surefire x300 I had did not fit. I was using it with a TLR-1 and encountered no issues except for finding a holster for it. I was fortunate to have someone fabricate a kydex holster for it.

Hope this helps!
