Grip Pod ?'s

What is your opinion of the Grip Pod? As a VG? As a Bi-pod? Polymer vs. Aluminum? Is it used in combat or only for a civvy? Sorry if it's been asked before but I could not figure out how to search. I know, I know, I rode the short bus.

I own one and quite frankly, im impressed by it.

Its pretty damned sturdy and you can stand on a gun with it mounted and deployed.

The only thing that i dont like about it is that if you dont threadlock the lower nut on it, it has a tendency to work itself loose VERY easily.

If you run a vertical foregrip and you dont want to run a bipod in conjunction with the grip BUT you want a bipod...ok then, a grip pod may be for you.
