I am going to Namibia this July to hunt and decided to have rifle built for the trip. I sought you guys' input for a 300 WM: https://www.m4carbine.net/showthread.php?t=104699. So this is what I ended up with. I had Robar (who is very local to me) build a variation of their SR60 rifle.

Action: Remington 700 LA (trued and blueprinted to barrel) with a BO bolt knob and AI M5 bottom.
Barrel: Lilja 26 inch fluted Palma contour with a 1:11 twist.
Stock: McMillan HTG.
Trigger: Timney 510 with 2.5 lbs pull.
Scope: US Optics SN-3 3-17x x 44mm Ergo with Erek (mil/mil) with internal level and lit reticle.
Finish: FDE stock/black Roguard metal/NP3 internals and mag.
Weight: 10 lbs 9oz with scope/mag/no ammo.

I took it to the range to sight in with some Federal Vital Shock with 180 grain TSX. It grouped 10 shots within 0.5 inches at 100 yds with an average velocity of 3100 f/s on my chronograph. I will start working up loads with Barnes 180 gr. TTSX bullets.

Thanks again everybody for their help in this project!

Nice smoke pole.
Have a SR60 myself.

You will be able to do whatever you want to with that combo.

Surprised your not running a stock pad on that.

enjoy !
