Heads up for people who have an AZ CCW permit.

Effective 03-01-2013, NV no longer honors the AZ CCW permit. (http://www.nvrepository.state.nv.us/Docs/PR_2013-03-01_ArizonaRecognition.pdf)

Summary:
NV approved AZ when they were looking at AZ's old requirements to obtain a CCW permit.
When AZ went constitutional carry, they eased the requirements for obtaining a CCW permit.
NV finally realized that the requirements had changed to that which is lower than the NV standard and as a result removed AZ for the list of states they honor.

I would expect this from more states in the near future.

I am glad I saw this thread. I already have a UT permit, but I was going to apply for AZ to add NV to the list of states for personal carry. No point now:mad:

I agree with RearwardAssist, I would expect that more states will start to do this.

With the advent of Constitutional Carry here in AZ, I'd like to see them make the CCW permit reqs a bit tougher to prevent this kind of thing from happening. As it stands, you don't even have to shoot anymore.
