Daniels Defense rail and Larue mount question?

Last week I mounted my Aimpoint ML3 With a Larue mount on my Daniels upper. I wanted the sight as far forward as possible. The two lugs under the mount are on the reciever but the front of the mount is on the top rail. Is this going to be OK or should I move the mount back to completely sit on the reciever. Rail looks even to reciever and mount looks square to where it's sitting.?

It is never recommended that you bridge the gap between the rail and the upper.
