Some shooting pics from yesterday

Thought you guys would enjoy these. My buddy, who is getting more into shooting through me is looking for me to build him an AR soon.

So I'm warming him up to the evil black rifles.

I no longer have any AR's....for the moment. Being in grad school and just getting on w/ the Bureau of Prisons while having a shitload of bills has taken a toll on my hobby. So I've got the -74 along w/ the 1911 and 870. Good enough for now until I can get more financially stable. It sucks at times b/c there is so much I want concerning guns but realize my limits and my priorities at 23 years old.

I'll soon be relocating to NW Indiana and driving into Chicago for work. I start training March 31 as a GS-6 Prison Officer. From there we'll see where it takes me but I'm thinking of either getting some experience and trying out for the US Marshals if they start hiring again or looking into the Air Marshals. Then hopefully w/ in a year I can really get my hobby back on track. First thing on the list is an SBR AR (10.5") and then a can. :D

Anyways...here's some pics. It started out a good day for shooting...then got damn cold and windy. Then when we'd put through about 500 rounds outta the AK, 200 through the 1911 and about 50 rounds through the 870 (00 and slugs) we called it a day. Sure as shit when we got everything packed up the damn sun came out and temp shot back up 10 degrees warmer. :mad:

Sure did even though I had snot dripping all over the rifles by the end of the day lol.

Thanks for the advice. You're not the first person that has said that to me and many have meant watch your back b/c of your fellow co-workers...should be interesting. I'm nervous and excited at the same time to finally start what I've been going to school for, forever! Just gonna stay in my lane, know my and my prisoners rights, try out for the SRT and see where it takes me. Best of all if I don't move to IN and end up staying in IL, upon graduation from the FLETC I'll be able to CC. Assuming my warden approves it.

I'm young, now single after just getting out of a 1.5 year engagement and have a whole career ahead of me, should be a great time!

Nice pics Bro! Good luck with the career. May want to think about local LEO jobs (pay better haha ;) ), although the USMS is the only FED job I would think about switching to.
