The anger I am seeing here in Pueblo this morning over the vote yesterday is amazing. The talk about a recall of Giron is loud. Has anyone heard of anyone actually starting the proceedings yet? Has anyone filed a petition with the Colorado Secretary of State that we're aware of?

I'm thinking of starting it myself but don't want to step on anyone's toes.

I only see Morse, Hudak, and Mclachlan...should have Giron at least and probably a handful more.

Do you have to be a resident to sign the recall petitions? How does it work in Co?

Let us know if our signatures can help you guys out.

As a US citizen from another state, we can donate to help fund this recall.

I was very happy to do so, thanks for giving me the link.

Let's counter Bloomberg's money, with money of our own. Teach them that ignoring voters will cost them their office.

I contacted them about Giron since I live in Pueblo. Would like to see more names there, though!

ok so 22834 votes were cast for Giron in 2010 I've seen 25 and 30 percent signatures needed for recall which at the 30 percent number would be 6851 if this is actually how its calculated. Please correct me if I'm wrong

Correct- we need signatures totaling 25% of the total votes cast in the election of whomever is to be recalled.

EG-

65,000 total votes cast = 16,250 (25%) signatures needed to start recall proceedings.

Let's get this done and send these traitors packing! Please email to anyone and everyone you know in or out of state! We should send a clear message for the rest of our liberty minded brothers in the nation. WE WILL NOT BE CONTROLLED BY LEGISLATURES WHO SEEK TO DESTROY OUR RIGHTS!

Hickenlooper has another facebook page entitled "Draft John Hickenlooper for President".

Please take moment to share your opinion on why he shouldn't be president- as he does not represent his constituents here in Colorado.

Let's beat him over th head with our voices.
