Anybody coming to Texas next month? I know AlaskaPoPo said he's gonna be there.

Should be a good match. I'm gonna try to shoot the local match they put on this weekend and we'll have one team training day before the match. Trying to get new gear squared away.

This match is an hour away from where I'm moving. I don't know if I'll make it for the actual 3-gun shoot, but the local matches look like a good time.

The monthly matches are a lot of fun. Expect to be there until 4ish depending on how many folks show up.

Sheldon cancelled the 2 gun matches but he's made all the 3 gun matches shootable with a rifle / pistol only (no airborne clays). I shot this months match that way.

too bad about the 2-gun. Good news about shooting it 2-gun style. I have no such thing as a shotgun.

I've found that if there's any sort of shotgun reloading involved, you can really be competitive shooting it as a 2 gun.

The matches now are kind of freestyle. You have restrictions on how close you can shoot steel with different arms, but other than that you can use whatever you want.

Will be at Surefire TXMG match again this year, given I only live 20 mins away. :D

Heh, if we're lucky....the way the last two matches have gone.....

Managed to get 8th in Open out of 42 shooters. Was very happy with the match set up, RO's sponsors squad mates everything was great.

Just the 3 Gun match monthly. But Sheldon sets it up to be 2 gun friendly. I shoot it rifle / pistol all the time.

Hoping that transitions back to separate weekends now that Surefire match is done. Combining the two makes for a whole lot of shooters that takes all day. Still fun, regardless, but going to be tough in the summer 100deg heat.

Yea Sheldon scared me on that one was glad the microphone was not working. I am not that great of a public speaker. Great match. See you next year for sure.
