Anybody have rounds on this thing?
I'm curious as well, searched high and low without one review being found. My google foo is weak.
I'm kind of a muzzle device whore but i haven't tried any of the DD offerings yet. Now which particular brake are you referring to? The Climb Mitigator or Superior Suppression?

Apparently it is compatible with a suppersor too.
Sounds like you need to do M4C a write-up! :D

So I finally got to put some rounds through my Daniel defense muzzle rise mitigater. This thing eliminated a lot of the muzzle rise I saw with the a2 bird cage on my sig 516. So I guess it did its job I'm pretty happy with it. I shot a surefire brake couple weeks back and I felt they are pretty damn equal. Not to mention the dd brake is compatible with suppressors that are currently being used by the military. I don't know what those are cause that's not my game so I don't really care. Just some FYI. 16120
How was the noise and concussion?

I was in a volcano type mound of dirt with walls of dirt 360 around me but I had ear pro. On so it didn't bother me any. My rifle had a low recoil already now it's real nice.
OP thank you for delivering. OPs hardly ever deliver.
I had a DD brake on my DD 14.5" LW middy. The muzzle dipped violently. 50 yard it would dip from the A zone to below the target. I swapped out to lightweight BCG, lightweight buffers, rifle length recoil system. All made little to no difference.
I replaced the DD brake with a Miculek. The rifle now shoots very flat.
The DD just had to much gasses venting upward for this Lightweight rifle.
I picked the miculek because I knew it was an effective brake that didn't vent upward and was cheap (didn't want to spend a lot of $ in case it didn't make a difference)
I'll keep the DD for a rifle that need to be tamed vertically

Thinking bout getting rid of the sig 516 and picking up a bcm middy I wonder how the brake will preform.
