Hi all,
Was wondering if anyone knows whether Magpul stealth gray furniture was available anywhere. I haven't seen it anywhere since the announcement last fall.
I'm planning on using MOE on the mid-length I am putting together right now and I am going back and forth between foliage and stealth gray (if I can find it)...

Pretty sure it hasn't been released yet. Might be a bit as it looks like they might be moving.
I doubt we'll see stealth grey for a long while with the possible move and the fact they are concentrating on black pmag production.
I've only seen it at Shot, it was more navy than grey to me.

This, what with all the bullshit CO is pulling on them (and residents, obviously), I am sure this is on the lower end of their priorities.
im waiting for stealth grey and m3 ranger plates. however, as already mentioned, they've got a lot on their plates right now. sometime later in the year for new stuff i hope.

Stealth Gray will begin with the MOE products and Magpul has said that they will gradually roll it out across their full product line in the near future. Pink will be a limited release, starting with the MOE Grip, Stock, and Carbine Handguard.
That's kind of what i figured. I'm itching to finish this build and this was the last undecided piece. Guess i will go with foliage, though i did see a full set of pink furniture the other day.

Wonder how similar the Stealth Gray color is to the UDE color they did for LaRue Tactical a few years ago.

From the pics, UDE is much lighter.

I have one of the first stealth gray items off the line here on my desk. It's slipped a bit in priority due to all the craziness, but we're still working on getting it in. Hasn't been tabled, but implementation will take a bit.

I have a build for my son on hold, waiting specifically for this color...this one's gonna have a mid-length hand guard, MOE grip and CTR stock to match his sister's Magpul Pink carbine/MOE build that's almost complete (BCG finally inbound!), and the CTR/middy/MOE FDE build on my 'Yote Buster in .223 Wylde. Can't wait for it to join the family!
Bump for curiosity's sake... Finished the FDE rifle, (Sandy) (http://zombiehunters.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=109&t=107783), the pink gun (Pinky) is 99% complete since I got the BCG this week, and now only need the grey furniture to finish the last of these 3 Magpul furniture based rifles... This one will be called "The Brain." More to follow...
As much as I like Magpuls products I really can't see me waiting to finish a rifle waiting on a color scheme, buy whichever part you like and spray paint that bitch.
I don't want to venture a guess right now...but I want the grey as bad as anyone.

My wife saw the pink magpul furniture and told me I could get her an AR as long as it has the pink furniture. I see either a Colt or a BCM dressed out in pink in the near future. :D
I know its only been a couple weeks since the last update but any new word? Really getting antsy to finish this set of builds for my kids but understand the turmoil and we certainly have enough rifles to shoot in the interim! ;)
Of note, this build w/the gray furniture will be a basically identical to the two already finished based on the pink furniture (http://zombiehunters.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=109&t=108103)and another built on FDE furniture (http://zombiehunters.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=109&t=107783)...forged lower (various sources), 14.5" barrel w/pinned AAC 51T flash hider, etc.
Is there at least any word on whether or not the hand guard will be available in all the usual lengths?
Specifically interested in a carbine length for this build but have another project beginning to take shape that I'd like to use the gray furniture on w/a midlength handguard.

I have the Larue/Magpul UDE kit on my BCM, mags in same color. Pretty sure not going to be able to get them again for a while, if ever.
So this one is Magpul itself and not a "special" for another company like the UDE which should make it easier to get; once it starts...right?

Are building this to shoot or for a fashion show. The Magpul rep clearly stated he didn't want guess. Buy black and finish it and shoot it. Or get some gray paint and paint it.

Grab yourself some Rit Dye and FDE furniture (you want the same brand so you're using the same type/density of composite material, that can affect dye absorption rates & hues), then get to it.
OP, PM me if you want pics. I went with a charcoal/steel-ish gray.

I just put one of their Tiger Stripe sets on a 6920. (pic is from a vendor, not my rifle.)
The set cost me $180 or so with shipping from Budsgunshop.com. They also have dipped Gen 2 PMags for less than $20.

Hydro dipping isn't cheap.
It's also not as durable as just buying to color you want injection molded. You get a scratch & it's still gray or pink underneath rather than black or FDE.
I know this is an older thread but where are we at on this? I need a complete MOE furniture set in stealth grey (gray?) w/midlength handguard. I've seen that color in a K2 MOE grip but that's about it. Any word on when we may start seeing these in the wild now?
As a resident of the great state of Colorado I feel like I'm being punished numerous times from multiple angles for the same non-crimes. *sad face*

Picked up a moe k2 grip in stealth gray from midway today. Looking forward to seeing a CTR stock added to the line up!
Facebook said it was shipping for pretty much all accessories.
I finally got all my stealth furniture on the way. Now my truck gun will match the gray interior of my Tacoma because that FDE furniture really clashes currently. Weee!

Just ordered a set including MBUS from Midway... Now to build the rifle around it!
Any news on magazines in gray or the previously released pink?
I believe I'll be able to get close on matching the gray with Rit dye, but so far all the stuff I've tried to dye pink to match my daughter's rifle has turned out more of a light brick red...tried using both FDE and Foliage Green as the base, and have tried just about every single shade of pink and combination of colors Rit produces.
I believe Magpul is only making magazines in black going forward.
I am digging the stealth gray though, my BCM ELW KMR is getting a dose of it!

It has indeed, the should be available from the usual suspects. I'd imagine they'll be back in stock shortly if they're out.

Thank you, I'll be on the look out cause the normal sources I go to don't seem to have it. DSG is showing the commercial version in stock but doesn't even list the mil-spec...
I've seen the STR in stealth gray listed as available, in milspec too.

This color is really growing on me. I love the gray finish on the Barrett Rec7, that's what has me thinking gray these days.
