I hear this evening that Governor Dickinpooper will sign the bills tomorrow morning and then follow it up with a town hall style discussion about the bills........we need to focus recalls on this traitor!

I just got off the phone with Hickenloopers head aid; I asked where and when the Governor intends to sign the bills today and he said that they are still taking tallys from consituents to determine if he will sign or not...

Not sure if this is a stall tactic to keep me/oppossition from knowing where the signing will take place (As I do intend to picket/protest the shit out of it and let everyone know where to show up to protest) or if they really are continuing the tally and might actually listen to the consitutuency.

I have a feeling the tally against all the gun bills may be getting incredibly close to the number of votes needed to recall the Governor (Approx 450,000 votes needed to start recall proceedings) and he is shitting in his pants a bit due to the sheer volume of oppossition being voiced.

I could be way off base and they could be giving misinformation to keep people from showing up en masse to protest so they can make it "Look" like there isn't massive dissent over these bills for the media that will inevitably be there top capture the "Great moment in history for our children".

The point being- KEEP CALLING THIS ****TARD GOVERNOR AND TELLING HIM TO VETO ALL (7) ANTI-GUN BILLS OR BE RECALLED!

Demand a veto, do not ask, DEMAND it! Politely of course.

You are exactly right about demanding a veto......I am done politely asking them to do the right thing.....time to get loud with these people in a non threatening way!

Edit, I just read on Colorado AR-15 that the governor is taking the press into his office to sign the bills.

It is official. Governor Hickenlooper signs all gun bills behind close\d doors in his office with a select few media heads to capture the progressive victory over individual rights and liberty.

Liberty and representation are dead in Colorado.

I urge anyone and everyone to show up at his office and protest this shit.

This really pisses me off, I spoke with his head aid this morning and he said they didn't have anything schduled just to keep us from knowing where to show up to protest.

Representative Government is gone....Liberty is dead...

The gun grabbing Democrats in Colorado are finally starting to face some backlash. Four Colorado state Democrats, including Evie Hudak are facing recall efforts for the stance and votes on gun control. The other three Democrats that are facing recall include John Morse, Angela Giron and Mike McLachlan. In case you forgot who Evie Hudak was, she’s the one who told a rape survivor named Amanda Collins, who defended herself with a firearm that ‘Statistics Aren’t On Your Side.’

Democrats in El Paso County, Colorado are especially trying to save John Morse. They call it “A Whole Lot of People for John Morse.” They need 7,178 signatures to qualify. So far they have a grand total of six.

Colorado Democratic lawmakers who recently helped pass some of the toughest gun-control laws in the country now face the political backlash of recall efforts.

Two groups are targeting state Rep. Mike McLachlan and state Sens. Angela Giron, Evie Hudak and John Morse.

The Democrat-controlled legislature passed bills that ban magazines holding more than 15 rounds and require background checks for all gun transfers. They were signed into law in March by Democratic Gov. John Hickenlooper.

Morse, the Senate president, pushed a more far-reaching proposal that called for holding owners, sellers and makers of assault-type weapons liable for havoc inflicted by their guns.

The Morse recall signature deadline was today, needed 7200 registered voters signatures in his district, they collected and turned in a little over 16,000. A major win.......but the Rumors are that Morse is considering resigning this week so that Hickenlooper can fill the position with another stinking Democrat before the recall takes effect!

Pretty good article on it:

http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2013/06/04/recall-looms-for-colorado-lawmaker-who-supported-gun-control-bill/

But this part is what interests me:

Morse tells KDVR he is going to fight the recall effort.
“We’ll go through these signatures with a fine-toothed comb,” Morse told the station. “And we’ll file some protests with the Secretary of State’s office because we know a lot of these signatures were gathered based on misinformation and lies.”

The CO Sec State is a Republican with a interesting history in Colorado politics. Wondering how this all going to play out

From that article, I find this very interesting: The U.S. Constitution requires that Legislatures must first approve any state that is to be created within its jurisdiction.

What is the definition of "Legislatures"? If county commissioners are considered Legislatures, maybe it will fly. Stay-Tuned!

Colorado Senators Suffer Another Legal Setback In Recall Challenge

By: leehopper (Diary) | August 15th, 2013 at 04:30 PM | 3

Supporters of embattled Colorado Senators John Morse and Angela Giron suffered another legal setback this week when District Judge McGahey ruled against mail ballots mandated by HB1303, the recent election reform law championed by Giron and Morse, because it conflicted with the State Constitution.

I'm eager for the results. I've been paying close attention to this movement and would like to see it succeed.

I would love to see the Liberal/progressive Denver/Boulderites choke on their own vomit when realizing they lost the revenues from the oil/gas bizz in the Northern part of the state!

My hats off and want to thank Co. for their efforts. It's going to help us here in NM A LOT. The northern part of NM is about as liberal as parts of Co with the rest of the state being very conservative. Co. success at the recall sends a BIG message to our politicians to not over step their bounds. Some have figured that out without a recall, we can attend government meetings carrying if we wish, for some reason that tends to promote better behavior. :)....O.L.

Hudak Resigns ahead of recall vote to hold senate majority for Democraps into next election cycle:

http://kdvr.com/2013/11/27/hudak-will-resign-seat-to-end-recall-threat-hold-democrats-senate-majority/

-From the article-

Knowing that Morse and Giron lost every legal challenge in the run-up to those elections, Hudak and Democrats generally appear to recognize the likelihood of the third recall’s success — as long as the group of gun rights activists behind the recall effort got enough signatures to put it on the ballot.

-End Snippet-

Coward. If she truly represented her constituents wishes- as she repeatedly proclaimed (Falsely) why not let the recall go forward and see what happens?

Either way I am glad she is gone, although I would have loved for her to be recalled and replaced in an election to give us the majority in teh senate!

Next election cycle is going to be awesome, Democraps are going down! Hickenlooper should be removed as well from all indications I am seeing/hearing.

The recall campaign reported 92% of signatures were in hand, and with a December 3rd deadline they would have hit their goal of 19,000 to get a recall election on the books.

Glad the witch is gone, she should move back to New York.

All this shows is that these idiot Demcrats knew they voted against their constituents wishes and took money from out of state leftist interest groups to pass laws no one wanted here except the idiot Californians and New Yorkistanis that have been flocking here.

They are showing their weakness. Time to double down and go for the throat of ALL these spinless non-representative Democraps in CO.

This is STILL a huge victory!

For one thing, they have repeatedly said there isn't support to push the recall through- for ANY of the Democrats in the state. Obviously they lied about that or were that overly-confident without reason to be.

It highlights the argument we've been making all along, that these Democrats are willing to game the system and don't represent the constiuents- but represent their own personal interests and the interests of whomever decides to buy them off for their votes.

This sends a clear message to anyone paying attention with a brain, and that is the Democrats play dirty and game the system to get what THEY want, not what is best for the state or district they supposedly represent.

Can't wait to say goodbye to her replacement, Hickenlooper and any/every single other Democrat moron we can get out of office next election cycle, and then repeal these idiotic anti-rights gun laws and the moronic voting laws, energy laws, etc...

Still many battles to be waged, and lots of work to be done, but we have the momentum and even though they are out spending us 10-1, we are winning and by large margins!

People really woke up from their slumber after this last legislative session. IT was the most damaging and far reaching legislative session in the history of this state, and it disenfranchised a lot of libertarians and moderates who would typically vote (D) in this state.

Can't wait for the repeal of these laws and voting out Democrat morons from office.
