My buddy has a Rock M4 and he wanted a rail and vertical grip.
I had a leftover Daniels vertical grip and Rail covers from the build I am working on now, so I had him buy a Midwest Gen2 drop in rail.
Pretty nice. The rail looks good and there is no wiggle.
While he was over I checked the castle nut, restaked his gas key and replaced his extractor spring with a Bravo Company 5 coil. and checked his gas rings
I was going to replace his buffer with a "H". But the pinned m4 stock that Rock put on the gun had a rifle buffer. So I cleaned the tube and reoiled the spring and put it back in.
What's up with the rifle buffer and spring in a carbine stock? This set up any good?
