flash hider?

I found this pic and was wondering what kind of flash suppressor/hider is on this colt?

Exactly.

Thats an oldie. Flash and directing the muzzle blast away from the shooter.
Always thought they looked mean but cans werent as prevailant as they are today.

Bushmaster makes them I think. There is member on TOS that modifies them to resemble the original XM-177 moderators.

Bushmaster makes one but it is 5 1/2" instead of 3 1/2" there are a few parts dealers that have the original spec flash hiders like SARCO MODEL ONE SALES etc.

yes that is there web address sometimes they have problems with the net so call and talk to Machinegun Dave he runs the company because they have alot of stuff that doesn't make it into there adds in shot gun news
