Virgin Barrel + FSB

Who is the go-to these days for drilling a new FSB and barrel?

I e-mailed steve at adco and got no response. I'm building an upper from scratch and this step is the only part I don't have the tooling for.

I've always heard ADCO. You shouldnt have any issues contacting Steve. I emailed him last week and got a response same day but i ended up finding someone local that did a good job. I believe Ranier Arms does some services as well

I'll certainly give Steve another shot. I've heard good things so, ADCO was my first notion.

I just had Adco pin an fsb for me. I made an error with my cc info so that delayed things :o but normally the job would be about a one week turn around. Just follow their instructions on the site, submit an order online and mail them your stuff. I would recommend including your own taper pins as the ones used on my barrel were a little short, at least for my liking.
