I stick with the AAC recommended load. I have shot hundreds of these.

11.2 grains of Accurate 1680. SMK 220 grain bullets.
COAL is 2.12

These always cycle in my AR15 SBR with 762SDN6 suppressor.
Upper is a 12.5" made by AAC.

I shoot mainly Suppers- I'm a big fan of Lil'Gun. I'd use that for you 110, 125's it's a very brass freindly powder- IE more reloads! IMR4227 is a good powder -and you can also use it for subs! :D

I have loaded 110's(Hornady and Barnes), 125 Noslers and I bought 500 of the 125 Blackout spec SMK's to try, 147/150 FMJBT(both M80 pulls and factory Hornady I think it is), 208 AMAX and 220g SMK.

I run a factory 9" AAC upper on a built by me lower with an H buffer and standard spring. AAC recommends an H2 buffer, but so far my H buffer has been running good on everything, but I just got my stamps for my cans and I have an H2 and H3 buffer on hand just in case.

For the light stuff(110-125) where you can really fill the case H110 works great. It needs case fill to be in the high 90% range or you start to have really nasty pressure issues way earlier than you should.

For the 150's I REALLY like Lil-Gun. 16g is my go-to load for those. Like I said H110 you cant get the case filled enough and you run into bad pressure signs. I was blowing primers and having other issues WAY before I should have and one person(who is very knowledgeable about H110 from magnum pistol reloading) told me about the case fill issue. I have no issues with Lil-Gun at the same powder loads.

For the heavy subsonic stuff A1680 is the powder to stick with IMO. When you start running sub's you have to have a powder that produces a lot of gas. There is a guy on 300blktalk that swears that lil-gun works for subs, but I dont know. I stick to A1680 and have no problems running 208's and 220's. I have run 208's as low as 10.5g and my gun still ran 100%. I ran 220's down as low as 10.8g and my gun ran 100%. I am going to re-work my loads with my can on the gun and see where I am at then.

thank you... i loaded some sierra 110gr hp, nosler BT 125gr, and smk 220 all using LIL GUN. Fired them yesterday/ I was pleasantly suprised how nice the rounds were, especially the 125gr ballistics. I will be loading some 4227 this week to run also. My load book is at my shop so i will post the specific data when i go in tomorrow

I'm starting to post LilGun loads this week and other load recipes I use in my BLK are here (http://kr-15.com/2013/07/08/chronograph-results-at-long-last/)

I've been using H110 for 125gr SMK and have had decent results. I believe it was right around 17.2gr w/ CCI 400 primers. No suppressor for the time being, so no need for subs. It's been a while since I've shot it, but I think it chrono'd around 2,200fps out of a 16" barrel.

I found 8lb of Lil gun on Powder Valley a few months ago, but have yet to load any rounds with it. From what I've heard, more folks have better success with Lil gun. Looking forward to trying this out.

I shoot 125 grain Sierra Pro Hunters, 130 Hornady SP, and 110 Barnes TTSX all loaded with 20.0 grains of H110 with CCI 450 primers.

That load show excessive pressure signs with 125 Nosler BT so for those bullets I back it down one grain.

Just converted 1500 once fired LC today, and loaded about half up with 147 gr pulls and 20 gr of 1680, which works well for general range use. Tomorrow after work I'll load up some 108 gr M160 pulls for shooting steel, same powder charge and seater setting, I'm lazy like that!

Here are the BLK recipes I have had success with. I just confirmed that LilGun is a workable option for subsonic loads that cycle a carbine length gas system-- 1680 is hard to find in my area so this is good news

my load recipes and chrony results I have so far (http://kr-15.com/2013/07/08/chronograph-results-at-long-last/)

My LGS and even Bass Pro has lots of Winchester W296 so I use that as it is so close to H110 and AA1680 on the charts I've seen.

DD 300 blackout with 9" AAC barrel and 762-SDN-6

200 gr. Nossler Accubond
10.0 gr W296
COAL 2.15"
Quiet and cycled 100%

220 gr. Sierra HPBT
10.6 gr W296
COAL 2.24
Quieter and cycled 100%
Most accurate of my three loads

190 gr Sierra HPBT
10.0 gr W296
COAL 2.12"
Quietest and cycled 100%
Largest POI shift from unsuppressed to suppressed

Is your supersonioc load a typo? 19.2gr of H110 behind a 125gr bullet sounds REALLY hot. I'm getting slight pressure signs around 17.5gr.

20 Grains of H-110 for 125's and 130's work great for me.

Yep according to Serria 18.3 gr H110 is max for there 125gr. And they should be going around 2200 fps!:D

What kind of velocities are you getting? Hodgdon lists 17.8gr as the max load @ 2,118fps and Sierra lists 18.3gr @ 2,200fps.

I'm not doubting y'all, this just has me intrigued...

Last fall when I worked up the load with Hornady 130 grain SP I was getting 2280 FPS through a 16 inch barrel. This summer I tried 125 Sierra Pro Hunters at 2330 FPS both using 20.0 grains of H110 and CCI 450's. I also tried Nosler 125 BT's but at 20.0 grains I got pressure signs and a blown primer so I backed that particular load down to 19.0 grains.

does anyone have experience with AA 2200 DATA Powder in 300 blk?
it appears to be the preferred powder in 6.8SPC...
