It had a pair of Hogue wood grips on it that I moved to my Model 19 in .357.

That is a great set of Ks. Is the 67 a -1.

Good lookingset of guns. Mdl 19 & 13 are 2 of my favorite S&W revolvers. Followed by the Mdl 15 & 67. Never really was fond of the 66. For some reason the 19 didn't translate well to stainless. While I don't mind the 67. Go figure.

Very nice I found a 65 a few years back which I will never sell. I have been on the hunt for a 67 about ten years now so I'm jealous.

There's just something about a 4" K frame that makes me feel like I just can't miss

You got a great deal. You will enjoy the heck out of it. It makes a pretty good carry gun when you feel like something different. The triggers just get smoother with use.

I picked up a spud load of wadcutters last year so I can feed my 38s and 357s. I've been using the same Unique load for both as the different cases seem to show about the same accuracy for a target load. I don't like to shoot 38s in my 357s due to the wax ring issue.

I've been using the Speer 135 grain load for carry in the 38s and Winchester Silvertips in 145 grain for the magnums. I usually carry an auto but on occasion I pull out one of the K frames and pack that for a week or two just for old times sake.

I agree :) Wonderful machines the old ones, elegant, accurate, reliable, balanced. It makes me cry when I see the current S&Ws with locks and degraded looks.

I would love to find a 3" K Frame for concealed carry.

Like this one? :D

I bought a beat up 67 many years ago. The rear sight blade was chipped on the corner but the DA trigger was sweet. I too paid only $250 for it. It shot like a custom gun. Those 4" K frames have great balance and just enough barrel length to be accurate for anything from home defense to IDPA matches. It was a little bit long for concealed carry. So I prefer 3" or shorter for that purpose.

Back in the 80's when LEN was required to carry 4 or 6 inch 38/357 in uniform i picked up a 3" model 13 with round butt. I dont recall what i did with it but out of the hundreds of guns i have bought and sold i miss that one the most.
