BAD stands for "bolt assist device." It is an extension that attaches to the bolt release and comes down by the trigger allowing you to release the bolt with your trigger finger without having to removing your hand from the pistol grip. Without it you'd have to use you support hand to either push the bolt release or hit/slap the left side of the weapon after loading a fresh magazine. It saves time and allows you to get back on target quicker.

Yes, I belive it slips over the bolt catch and set screws in place.

Use the orange search button up top to do your research on the BAD and get some first hand opinions on how well it actually works in real life.

Tried to search it, as already stated. Found nothing within the first 2 pages.

Yes, I did.

Just checking. That is a big thing to do here before asking a simple question that can be answered with a quick search.
The first ? the what is it and what does it do? would be an easy thing to find from the search button or even google.
I did a search for BAD lever and Came up with many things to include. The use or not use of them, malfunctions caused by them, fitment being loose, how to install, etc. just FYI

It has been around for a while so I checked the last two or three pages and found many answers on it as well
