Does anyone here own or have any first hand experience with the Big Horn Armory model 89?
Im jones'in for one in the rifle configuration (22" barrel).
From 275gr to 500gr it would be a cool thumper.

Very interesting find!
I hadnt noticed but the Big Horn version jumped in price, when they were first dicussed they were around 1800msrp. Now they are 2400+.
I like the look and options of those DRC's....
Its hard to argue with results like this from the 500 s&w...

Hard to argue with a hard hitting round like the 500 s&w mag. I just wish I could get the money together for this elk season. But thats not going to happen..

Wow, very cool rifle, but the price tag made me cringe a little. Not saying it ain't worth it, .......

Why not buy one and have a barrel made up? The only problem I see is the magazine. You may need to convert it to single feed, I don't know what the magazine capacity would be afterwards. I've read the 460 has a weird pressure spike which may present a problem. Looking at the calibers that have been fielded in the BLR it should be safe.
