From my reading on this site, it seems the correct carrier screws are Holo-Krome 8-32, ¼-type, grade 8. I need to get some, and I'm wondering who sells them. Some of the websites I've visited simply say "mil-spec" or "USGI."

Thanks in advance.

MSC Industrial Supply probably has them. But I don't think you can just buy a few.

Comes with a key too. You may be able to call them & just ask for fasteners.

Just ordered some from Windham Weaponry, they seemed to have a lot of small parts available at a reasonable price..

I picked up this set from DSG, a while back and got them fairly quick (appear to still be in stock):

You are better off adding them to an order of other stuff, as it wouldn't make much sense to pay the shipping for just a pair of gas key screws.

Or, you might try contacting Pat @ Emerging Tactical Solutions (http://www.emergingtacticalsolutions.com).

He recently sent me a set with a new key included for $25 shipped. Not sure if he has any left, but worth a try.
