So, I found this lil guy at the range all by his lonesome.

Can someone please tell me how in the heck I can disassemble him?

Depress the follower and then stick something through the mag, through one of the holes to capture spring.

Follower should be loose and flopping around.

Remove follower and point mag down before taking out the stick you've stuck through the mag.

Got it - thanks!

Sheesh - I guess I've been spoiled by my Wilson mags the last 15-20 years, LOL.

LOL.
Sorry, I'm so old school with the 1911 I can't imagine anyone not knowing how to disassemble the old style mags.

But you've got a good point (and I should never assume), but with most of the aftermarket 1911 mags having a removable baseplate / bumper pad and a detent plate there are probably a lot of 1911 shooters who wouldn't know how.

THAT'S MY MAG YOU S.O.B, I'VE BEEN LOOKING EVERYWHERE FOR IT!!!

But to answer the question, depress the follower with a punch, then stick a appropriate sized punch through a lower witness hole under the follower to retain the spring. The follower should now be possible to shake out of the body.
