I just read around on that site a little bit. I actually like their font, and stuff. I just don't want this forum to change it's layout. Because it's configured really well.

I just highlight everything with my mouse so it's blue, then it's tolerable for my eyes. It's not nearly as bad here in my office with good overhead lighting. At my house my wife likes the lights off when we are watching T.V. I'm on my laptop then and it's miserable.

FYI : The new look will be easier to read, is really more of a refresh with some added features, and all you people who don't like change may still bitch, but stuff really isn't moving around at all. Functionality is not taking a back seat to design.

There will be some admin functions that change a bit, but I will work with the mods and admins on that before go-live.

I'm actually the one responsible for that, but at the time, most folks felt it was a nice improvement. I think it does depend somewhat on the equipment used, as I've noticed it is easier to read on some machines than on others.

I really like it how it is now- easy to see/read, runs simple and quick, and it's a totally tacticool color combo, dammit! :D

If you MUST change it, please for the love of God KEEP IT SIMPLE- kind of like it is NOW....
No goddamn widgets and moving shit and menus that have to load to display when you click on them, and stupid advertisements incessantly refreshing every two minutes, and so forth.
My internet is slow and limited enough.
I've been on to many other sites that have recently "upgraded" (my ass...) and it just blows to try and get on them now. Id' really rather not have my favorite most read one totally FUBAR'd as well....
