Anybody have an opinion on the Primary Arms ACSS 6x scope? It has two elements in the view, one to determine the range and a sighting reticle with bullet drop compensation.

Hey man, sorry to see that no one replied to your question. I saw that scope as well and became interested in it too. I don't have any personal experience with it, but like I said it does peak my interest and you may not be able to beat the price.

I found out a little more about it on TOS.

This is from Marshal Lerner who is the CEO of Primary Arms Inc.

1. It is made in China.
2. The quality of the glass is comparable to entry level Nikon scopes.
3. There are other variations in the works for later this year.
4. Possibly a 2.5-10x FFP in the works.
5. A 4x and 5x compact scope in the works with that reticle.
6. A 1-6x at a higher price point is in the works.

Hope this helps.

I'm going to wait until the higher power variable is available. It's also suppose to have a parallax adjustment.

I am really interested in that fixed 4x referred to for my range plinker. I am not sure how the primary arms brand scopes would do in a heavy use carbine course but for my range toy AR the prices do look right.
