View Full Version : florida moves on anti drone bill
Florida is limiting Florida LE from using drones.
Speaking of drones. PETA was supposed to start using drones in Mississippi to try and find guys illegally hunting. Would love to see one of these and turn my rifle into an AAA weapon. :)

I would be nice if they could bar the feds from using them in FL.

Is airspace federally regulated? If so, then feds can use drones to their heart's content.
We just had a drone crash here in Nevada. A measly $10 million down the tubes and it's a good thing he didn't smash the ****ing thing into a casino. http://www.foxnews.com/us/2013/04/10/drone-crash-in-nevada-costs-us-air-force-nearly-10-million/

What struck me about this is that the drone they are looking at has a loiter time of about 5 minutes... they're not planning on orbiting far above, 'observing', they will have to get in, scare the animals away, and get it out... it's all they'll have time to do. I think they're plan is to scare the critters, and video the pissed off hunters blasting the helicopter out of the sky.
