Beretta CX4 Carbine at Wal-Mart

I didn't expect to see this at Wally World.....

Price is steep though for what it is. Best pic I could get considering the amount of glare.

I couldn't see a price though.

Almost the only gun they had other than a couple of 870 expresses.

My Walmart had a 6920 SOCOM last week. $1497

Seems they're expanding the options as of late.

They do indeed seem to be expanding their line up, they had a pair of 6940s not too long ago:

And the tag to the left of the CX4 in the first pic of the OP says "Colt Carbine Rilfe, $1097.00." So their prices have not gone up much, if at all. I paid the $1097 before tax on a 6920 in December.

I'm kicking myself for not buying one when they were $599 three years ago.

I bought one in 9mm when they first came out for $630. That thing was a real jam-o-matic. I could not get through a single magazine without at least 2 FTFs, sometimes every other round. I was using the factory magazine it came with and some other Beretta 92 mags.

I sold it about 8 months after I bought it for a small loss. It was accurate enough for my needs but had too many issues.

I knew the Cx4 wouldn't get a lot of love on this board but the fact Wal-Mart is putting stuff out there is more significant to me.

My dept actually issues the .40cal CX4. My LT. and I took it to a NTOA carbine school. It was our CX4's and everyone else had AR's. Everyone's systems did well from what I recall...and I was having AR envy:D but the CX4 is a great shooter! Aim for the head at 100 yds and hit upper chest all day:p
