From the article:
It was received on Tuesday — similar timing to a letter addressed to Senator Roger Wicker, Republican of Mississippi, that tested positive for ricin. The letter addressed to the president had similar markings and was similar in appearance to the one addressed to Mr. Wicker, according to a law enforcement official.

In a statement, the F.B.I. said that the letter to the president contained “a granular substance that preliminarily tested positive for ricin.” The bureau also said that ricin had been discovered at another mail screening facility.

Another article discussing it as well:

All this activity might just be coinsidence, but it certainly seems like something is up...

A correspondent on Fox just described ricin as "ten thousand times more poisonous than many other substances."

Sometimes listening to TV news makes me just want to eat my gun.

I heard that also and my first reaction was, wait, wtf did he just say?

TV news caters to the stupid. At least 53% as proven by last election.

Well, that statement is true, of course, and  is appropriate. There are probably millions of other substances that are less poisonous than ricin.

However, ricin actually is pretty toxic, which is what the Fox numbnall was probably trying to see (when applied appropriately a couple grains the size of salt grains can kill). http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ricin

Hearing reports that the guy is from Mississippi (oh good). National news is reporting he is from Tupelo. Local news is saying he is from Corinth. Local news is also saying that he is an Elvis impersonator. Can we just reboot this year??

He is suspected of sending both letters to Wicker and Obama.
ETA: Or attempting to send said letters.

Just saw this on Fox. My dad lives in Corinth. Need to give him a call and see what he's hearing.

Curtis believed he had uncovered a conspiracy to sell human body parts on the black market and sometimes performed as an Elvis Presley impersonator, the Associated Press reported.

You probably won't hear much about this guy on MSM.

That's 2 left wing nuts attacking the government in a few months. Dorner and now this guy.
