Just finished up a Smith and Wesson M&P 45. I stippled the grip a full 360. Polished the feed ramp, polished the chamber and breach face. Tuned the trigger. Overall, I like this new gun. Smith and Wesson is really listening to the customers.

Ray T,

Good job on the stippling, it looks good and clean. I too have a Smith & Wesson M&P in .45ACP and really like it. Out of all the polymer type pistols in .45ACP, it is definately my favorite.

I had a trigger job completed on it, and now I like it even more.

Yes:D

Give me some time, I have a lot on my plate right now and will try in the next few months.

Do you need the whole pistol or just the frame?
I'm assuming either will have to go through an FFL?

Just the frame is fine if you want only some stippling done. You can send it too the shop that I'm based at. Let me know when your ready. Thanks again!

I went to the range today to try this baby out. I fired 600 rounds (400 rounds of Winchester 230 gr FMJ, 100 rounds of Federal HST 230 gr +Ps, 100 rounds of DoubleTap 200 gr. Gold Dots) to see if everything was o.k..

I am normally a fan of the Glock pistols, but this M&P 45 is something else. No malfunctions at all !! On average I got 2" groups at 25 yards. The trigger job that I did helped make this pistol a dream to shoot. Rapid fire strings, double taps, failure drills were all a cinch. :D

Overall, I'm really impressed with this weapon. Now lets see how well it holds up to my training / practice sessions. More reports to follow.

I agree Ray; I'm a huge fan of my Glocks and I'm not ready to sell them off and make the switch to the M&P but so far I'm impressed as well. I find myself shooting my M&P most of the time these days while the Glocks sit in the safe. More M&Ps are in my future. :D

Ray,

What kind of turn-around time are you running on an identical stipple job with the magazine cut outs if I send you my frame only? PM me with a price quote also if you can. Thanks.

Nick
