Vice President Joe Biden is planning a new gun control offensive — he just hasn’t told the president yet.

Biden told a group of law enforcement officials Thursday that he is planning even more travel, with trips around the country to stump for a renewed push on expanded background checks and gun-trafficking laws that failed to pass the Senate last month.

Joe, Buddy, sit the **** down, and shut the **** up.

The vice president rattled off poll numbers of senators the White House and its gun control allies think they can win over and said he’ll lead the effort to tweak legislation to give recalcitrant senators the cover to vote for expanded background checks.

There is one type of rattle I'd like to hear coming from Joe's throat, if you get my drift. Not that I'd want to be the cause of it or anything.

“His candid request was for us to tell him what can be done differently,” said Jon Adler, national president of the Federal Law Enforcement Officers Association. “His sense was not to go back to the drawing board with the same thing that just lost.”

Adler added: “You bet on a horse and lose, you’re not going to bet on the same exact horse in the same race.”

Uh, in this case I believe that would be a dead horse.

Let Shotgun Joe blow his wad all over the place. The more he talks the more sound bites we get to use against them.

I love Brainless Joe! A great asset to conservatism.

Even though he is an idiot, this should serve as reminder that asshats like him will never stop trying to disarm us. I will continue to write my reps about this issue.

Exactly.

His "Fire off two blasts off the balcony" and "Just fire through the Door" comments are gold.

Not to mention Bloombergs "common sense" Hunter breaking every safety rule in His TV spots.

Biden is a loser. The last time he had a non elected job was in the early 70's.

I just saw where Ted Cruz challenged ol' Uncle Joe to a debate on crime and gun control. Come on Joe, answer the bell cool breeze.

The only problem is as dumb as he sounds he blew his wad during the election and people dumber than him elected Obama again.

I think the key words are "travel around the country." Obama won't let him hang around the WH, and he is useless for any real work, so he likes the free travel with an army of armed escorts who can't drive worth shit. At least not with him jabbering in their ear about how funny he is.

Please Joe, take the long drive off a short levee. If you ever want to know the worldwide source of stupid, just wait for Joey Two Barrels to open his mouth.

The gun control vote loss hurt Joey's ego and their side real good. The anti-gunners will definitely be out to avenge the loss the first chance they get. I look for them to try again with a watered down version in the next 4 months or less. During this lull in the storm I would get as many of the things you want and can afford, because with politicians you never really know how they will vote each time. Availability and prices on items seem to be slowly improving. And last but not least, let us (ALL gun owners) vote out of office as many of the anti-gunners as we can in the coming elections and send the message : :nono: don't **** with us or you WILL be out of a job.

Listen closely to his speeches. It is fun to play "Drunk or Not Drunk" with the VP.

Maybe reviving gun control is a way for him to deflect attention away from his belief that the system is raping women?

While not Biden specifically it's germane & more to follow from him regarding his Boss's agenda

"First, the Obama administration put 2,000 high powered weapons in the hands of Mexican cartels. Did President Obama forget about that little tragic episode from his first term? We hear that 200-plus Mexicans were killed by these weapons. Why didn't President Obama apologize to the soldiers' families? Or the widows? Or the orphans?
Second, cartel leaders, or criminals in the US, will continue to have guns because outlaws always do. Can someone remind President Obama of what is happening in Chicago? President Obama's hometown has very strict gun laws but Juarez is Disneyland compared to the killings in Chicago!"

"How do you say "The Twilight Zone" in Spanish? I think that it's "La dimension desconocidad," i.e. the unknown dimension literally."
