Barrel twist

What is the preferred barrel twist for a 308 precision rifle?

And more importantly why?

I think 1:11.+ is the best. If you'd like to shoot far'er :)

All of mine have been 1/10. I've had no issues shooting out to 1k where I thought I needed something different.

I'm running a 1:12 with 175 SMK and having no problems out to 1000
