Guys and Gals,

I did a search in this forum and didn't turn up anything so here goes. Any suggestions on info for learning, chasing and popping these birds?

ETA: I'd like to add that I'm interested in learning the lifestyle habits of these creatures such as roosting, seasonal habits, etc.

Thanks, Keith

When I hunted them back in Kansas as a boy we always looked for a roost, and then in the afternoon sneak in there and popped an owl decoy on a pole and set it up and on seeing the first crow would turn on a tape of an owl attacking a crow, drives them nuts, we used to kill 15-20 a day that way, but that was before them became a game bird with a season

Get a FoxPro Electronic caller and use any of the many Crow Fight/Crow Distress calls, they will swarm you by the hundreds!:D

Thanks for the replies and recommendations fellas. I've had good luck with the hawk/crows soundtrack but they seem to learn it after a couple of times. Just tyring to broaden my limited knowledge of the subject.

Thanks, Keith

we used to drive around w/an electronic caller. I believe we used a crow in distress call.
if you hear a crow, they will hear the call and come running. you can 2, you can kill 100 but if you miss one, he'll warn the others and you're thru there.
if there are any near by, they come quickly, if you dont see any in 5 minutes. pack it up and move on.
