We just had a thread like this. It was the gas port hole. It looks funny like that when looking down the bore.

I get it now. I couldn't tell, but now I see those pics were from the flash hider end. I wouldn't stress about it. I'd shoot the gun and see what kind of groups you get. If they are acceptable, rock on. I have 6 AR's, I've honestly never even inspected the bores.

I would have to think that if DD inspected it and returned it to you it's GTG. It wouldn't make spence for them to send you back a defective product. Shoot it and see if it shoots to expectations.

Can you feel the flaws with an instrument, like a bent paper clip or something similar?
