Because double taps are too difficult.

"The Gilboa™ Snake will allow faster traversing between multiple targets by delivering two rounds with each trigger pull."

I would like to see the trigger/firing mechanism at work.

This model is a 9.5" SBR too!

Now that's a solution in search of a problem.

not trying to be a smart ass here, but i thought the definition of a machine gun was more than one round fired for every pull of the trigger....

Or you can just get an AR10, one .308 is about 2.5 times more powerful than an 5.56.

You know what they say- "Two is One. One is None". Now you can attend an Operator class with a platform that's truly one.

The Gilboa Snake is a real game changer. It gives the Operator the capability of carrying sixty rounds of ammo without having to buy the expensive and problematic Surefire magazines. Real money can be saved. The Operator can buy six P-Mags for the price of one Surefire. Two P-Mags side by side are shorter and less bulky than one Surefire and will still fit in a mag pouch. Operator fatigue is reduced as sixty rounds can be sent down range with the effort it takes to send thirty from a conventional AR.

Transition times between side to side targets are faster. As soon as the Operator has the barrel on that side lines up, they press the trigger! Shorter arcs means less work for the Operator. Simple geometry!

The Snake platform is truly ambidextrous. With a standard M4, regardless of how the controls are configured, ejection is still on the right. Other rifles can be configured to change to which side the empty cases are thrown, but the Operator must still take the time to make the switch. With the Gilboa Snake, no matter which shoulder the Operator shoots from, ejection will automatiucally on the side needed because ejection is always from both sides! No other "platform" can give this level of performance!

Dual barrels equals dual mission capability. With a single barrel platform, the Operator must have a short barreled upper to meet the mission needs of CQB, then switch to a long barreled upper when assigned to long range over watch duties. No more! With the Gilboa Snake, an Operator simply has to have their armorer install a short barrel on one side for CQB and a long barrel on the other side for long range mission. With 45 degree sight mounts, the Gilboa Snake is instantly ready for anything, from Bad Breath distances all the way out to Don't Run- You'll Only Die Tired. For even greater versatility, a truly Switched On Operator will configure one side with a short suppressed barrel chambered for the 300 BLK, optimized to shoot heavy weight subsonic ammo, and the other with a longer barrel in the 6.5 Grendel for sniping.

If this rifle had been allowed to participate in the Army Trials (inside sources reveal HK spent millions on an intense behind the scenes slander campaign and bribery to have this revolutionary platform barred.) it's obvious the advanced technology and advantages this platform offers, the Army would have immediately adopted it and would be pushing hard to replace the clearly inferior M4 now carried by our front-line war-fighters.

The best part is the special lubricant that comes with each Gilboa Snake. Before delivery, each is liberally coated in Snake Oil

Remember- "Four to the Chest, Two to the Head"
