Just purchased some Magpul MOE Gen M2 Windowed PMags. Other than the window, there were a few things different about these compared to my non-windowed Gen M2 PMags. Just wondering if anyone could tell me if these are real or fake.

Thank you.

Why, exactly do you think they are fake?

Is 14 the year made, that seems off if so? Mine say 09

That's the real deal. BTW, 14 is just a mold number and has nothing to do with the year the mag was made.

Appreciate it everyone, are there any give-aways to tell if a PMag were fake?

I have seen a lot of fake Magpul stuff out there but I dont think there has been a reference to fake PMAGS yet. I even picked up a MOE stock at the local gun shop that was a fake. It had been purchased and returned. The guy that bought it took the real one out and swapped it out with a fake then returned it. Store worker didnt catch it.

Wow, so I guess we aren't even safe buying items from retailers.

If you're curious about something just try to search for it on DHGate, if its on there it's fake and there's probably tons of it on eBay and such, saw a few magpul items on there before and even Larue handstops and clips.

Soo you thought it was fake and still bought it? What did you pay for it?

I purchased them online, I have other PMags and the material of these feel different. More flimsy, like I could break it. My other PMags feel quite a bit stronger.

Earlier versions were a bit more rigid. The most recent ones have been reformulated and have more flex to them.
