So where is the secret stashes at? I know Cabelas used to sell it but pulled it off their site and it hasn't been back since.

Is it any better than the 5.56 TAP that Grant sells?

I dunno im too much of a stingy bastard to shoot any of it. But the cheap Privy 75gr match is pretty good stuff.

Better than TAP PFD but not as good as TAP T2.

IMHO. YMMV.

Shot a few a while back and found my handloads are more accurate than the MK262. Thus I sold the 25 boxes I had.

I agree, I get better results with handloads and SMK 77 gr projectiles.

I believe that Sierra is now selling 77 gr MK's with the cannelure, as a reloading component.

Yes they are. I was at their factory 3/28 and they had "seconds" for sale $12.97/LB - 91 bullets to the LB. = .1425 cent/bullet :D

The MK262 seconds are my designated, first line self-defense ammo, but due to the expense of them, I do not shoot them for general range work. I have reloads that give me a very similar POI at a fraction of the cost, so these are used for training.

M193/XM193 ammo is used for everything else...

I haven't seen any for sale in quite awhile... I have never seen any for sale on this forum. You may want to keep your eyes peeled on AR15.com if you want some. That was the last place I got mine...

Expect to pay $1.00 per round, or more...
