View Full Version : 9mm AR - need help finding a bolt weight roll pin
First and foremost, I apologize, but I have no idea who makes the bolt carrier that is currently in this gun. It's on a full-auto DPMS lower, but I have no idea what the upper consists of (many of our guns are a bit Frankenstein).
I need to replace the roll pin (at least it looks like a roll pin) that is holding in the weight inside the bolt carrier. Can anyone link me to one?
A picture would be helpful, but if it is a Colt style bolt carrier a 1/4" spiral roll pin should be what you need.

Ok, so I've determined that I need a 1/4" diameter x 7/8" OAL coiled spring pin. However, I cannot find one... Does anyone know where I can order 1-5 of these (without having to order 50, 100, 500, etc)??
Have you tried a local hardware store?
We have a thread for these kinds of questions. There is also another sub forum for AR pistols/9mm stuff.
