I wanted to start a thread to see the kinds of nutty, overpriced and ridiculous set ups people have thrown onto gunbroker.com or other firearms sites (armslist.com, etc.) That you guys have seen.

It looks like a Cheaper Than Dirt catalog puked all over that rifle...

There's been quite a few retarded things on Armslist in my area. Mostly .22lr at 3-400% of retail.

Mags are still a little nuts on Gunbroker ... I bought (5) 20-round Gen3 PMAG's recently for ~$15 each (still in the wrapper)... reasonable... but there were other listings with the same quantity and model bid up to twice as much as what I paid. There seem to be an inordinate number of people on Gunbroker that truly suck at search.

Point being... make sure you try multiple ways of searching for an item before you ever consider paying crazy money for a gotta-have-it item.

It might be time for me to sell a few Gen 2's at scalper prices and replace with Gen 3's. plus get rid of a Beta Mag or two :dance3:

Hmmm Molon Labe guns... Perhaps it's Molon Labe Industries selling it, wouldn't shock me, they think they're going to sell their totally unproven SCAR 17/H mags for $70 a pop that believe it or not look like 50 round mags, but only hold 20, their 25 round mags are about 3 feet long! Then they advertise their shit as "IR resistant", "more durable than any other polymer magazine" and some other bullshit, I bet this is the same people!

My buddy just got us 25 gen 3 Pmags for 14 a piece including shipping. Figured we could sell our gen 2's as well and have all new stock.

Not justifying it by any means, but they do this so they get more hits on a search.

Same reason when you search for LMT, you get Rock Rivers and other garbage from people who type NOT LMT, etc in the title line.
