Since I go to a lot of places where I might get dirt in the weapon if I carry in an open holster, I'm wanting something that encloses nearly the entire gun. Also, since I can't carry in places that sell alcohol, I'm wanting a paddle holster so I can leave the gun in my vehicle.

I've Googled and searched this all afternoon and I'm not finding much.

Is there such a thing, or at least some company that will custom make it?

See the compiled holster list sticky in the semi auto section.

I bought a flap holster for a 1911 from C5 on this list and like it. He will do custom work. My wait time was 4 weeks. He is a cop who does leather work on the side.

Look at Lobo from this list. The website shows a beautiful j frame flap holster.

C5 offers a choice between a loop or metal clip for attachment.

For a custom job using a paddle, I have an unused paddle from a DeSantis Gunhide holster which you may have if it'll help. I see no reason why it could not be adapted to your need.

Lefty, the owner is retired NYC detective and makes wonderful holsters. He's done 3 holsters for me, all modification of his standard designs, and they were worth every penny. Explain your problem and he'll try his damndest to take good care of you.

Most of the solutions that come to mind are kind waist pack styles.

Tuff Products has what you are kind of looking for. Their taclet Jr will fully enclose a J-Frame.

There is Wilderness Tactical's Safepacker

Here is a bagmaster. It has metal clips to quick attach

I know there is something out there with a paddle. I will add later.

I'm not aware of a commercial product like that. A few years ago I had a local saddle shop make me up a full flap holster for a M60-4 3" FL, patterned after the old GI revolver holster. Belt attachment was similarly by slots, and he used pretty heavy leather. It was a bit of overkill but heck for stout. It'll probably last 75 or 100 years with a little TLC.

I'm liking some of these. Ideally I'd like to have a pack like one of these that also has a compartment for a simple belt holster.

The idea is: when I travel in the daytime I usually leave the gun in the vehicle (for reasons I won't get into). When I travel at night and have to stop at a rest stop or something, I'd like to have the option of "emergency concealed carry" by being able to stick it under my shirt or something.
