The Gen2 rails are excellent rails, especially for the cost. I think they are the most underrated rail in the industry right now.

These rails are 7 inches and it seems like my hanguards are not that long like 6 and a quarter or so.Has someone installed these on a sig m-400??? Or is the length hidden under the delta ring?
Do i need to be looking for like 6.5 inch rails?

No, the two-piece carbine length drop in will be fine.

I had the Gen II drop in on a previous carbine. It was well made, and relatively light. My only gripe with the rail was the width of it. It is on the fatter side of drop in rail systems vs something like the KAC RAS which has a much better feel IMHO.
